APOSTLE JOHNSON SULEIMAN

Apostle Johnson Suleiman is a man of many parts. A journalist, a teacher, an evangelist, a fast rising prophet and a vocal pastor. He is known for his prophetic ministry and reknowned for locating individuals by their names, dates of births and other personal information on ministering to them for the very first time. Johnson Suleman is from the Imodu Sule family in Auchi , Edo state in South South Nigeria. He is believed to be in the age range of 43 to 49 years as this aspect of him still remains unknown.
Born to Muslim parents, his father was then a soldier while his mum was a police officer in Benin city some years ago. His birth was heralded with messages by some men of God who stated that though he was a muslim, he would be a prophet to be used by God, a prophecy, his parents dismissed with a wave of the hand considering their religion. He had his primary and secondary education in Auchi and also attended The Polytechnic, Auchi where he studied Mass Communications. He became a Christian in December 1989 after responding to an altar call by the Archbishop Benson Idahosa of blessed memory even though he had gone through the Quranic school and already graduated at 12 years of age. His father eventually became a Christian In 2006 after being healed by Jesus through his son at the point of death following an intestinal obstructive related ailment.
He caught the vision for his ministry on 20th June 1994 which later resulted in the birth of Omega Fire ministries in February 2004 with her international headquarters at Auchi, his hometown. He claims to be the most travelled Nigerian preacher having travelled to about 90 countries of the world for his crusades. Apostle Suleman according to reports is believed to have met with twenty two African presidents.
He is presently building a 70,000 church worship auditorium at the International Headquarters of his ministry. His ministry also transmits live services of the church’s programs from the church owned free to air tv station named celebration tv to thousands of viewers in many countries. Celebration TV was established in 2013.
He is also known for his generosity. He has given out over 100 cars to pastors, church members and others within the society. He also gives out annual scholarships during his birthday celebrations every March to indigent students and his church members while he is known to donate items like boreholes, transformers and so on to his community. He however claims to have rejected an aircraft gift from an admirer of his ministry in 2016. In January 2017, he was accused of trying to incite his followers against Fulani herdsmen in his home country, a statement he vehemently denies indicating that he only told his followers to act in self defense against any provocative attacks by Fulani herdsmen in their domain. He was to be secretly whisked away by the Department of Secret Service (DSS) in the dead hours of the night at one of his crusades in Ado Ekiti but this act was foiled by the State Governor, Ayodele Fayose. He was eventually invited for a friendly chat with the DSS which he honoured some days after the foiled episode with the DSS.

He got married to Elizabeth Johnson Suleman in 1994 and the marriage is blessed with 5 children, 4 girls and a boy Godsfavor, Divine, Love, Mirabel and Johnson.
